HUNT CLUB POST 186 MEMBER, ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HUNTING 2017-2018? (July through Spring Turkey 2018) If you like to still hunt and want to belong to a club who keeps the number of members small then Rack and Spur Hunt Club is for you. For less than $50 a month you can enjoy the outdoors on nearly 500 wooded acres 1 hour and 15 minutes from the post! CAMP, ATV, SHOOT, HIKE AND HUNT IN A RURAL LOCATION IN LUNENBERG VA. Dues are due now MAY/ EARLY JUNE are paid annually. Membership runs from July through the end of spring gobbler season in June. A member can use the property all season. Friends who are listed on our lease for insurance purposes may hunt during general firearms season with member at rate of $25.00 a day. We are looking for two or three more members to bring our hunting membership to no higher than 7 .At present we have 3 local members and one member from South Carolina. Rack and Spur is located in Lunenburg County. We lease from a timber company approx. 500 acres. We have 14 year old pine mixed with hardwoods along 2 main streams. This lease has been held for over 20 years. We maintain food plots and plan on adding more this year. Wildlife is plentiful. White tail, bear, bobcat and major quantity of turkeys along with small game are all found in numbers. We have ground blinds and tree stands on the grounds. A shooting range was added last year by Dick Hahn and I . As a member you may camp on property (rough) and also ride ATV. The grounds have a good road and trail system and under timber -company rules an ATV must be used when raining heavily (or you may hike). Hunting area may be handled on foot from parking areas without ATV. 1. The fence line at the rear of our property needs to be replaced as it has fallen. The fence prevents individuals from walking through our property and into the pond at the kennel. It is a matter of safety. Cost: $2,000.00 The intention is to cover these needs through a combination of Legionnaire donations and business solicitation. ID Card Renewal If you are an authorized military ID card holder, for any military service, you may renew or replace your ID card at the Fort Lee ID Card Section located in the Soldier Support Center, Building 3400, Room 115, 1401 B Avenue.
The hours of operation are 8am - 4pm, Monday thru Friday. If your ID card contains your social security number you may replace it at your convenience. Currently, there is no mandate for these ID cards to be turned in or replaced. Replacement is solely up to the individual's comfort on possessing a card that contains their social security number. This type of ID card is still valid.
