The City of Hopewell Farmer's Market needs help in setting up and tearing down their tents and supplies each Saturday through the end of October.  Set up is from 1300-1400 and tear down is from 1700-1800.  The market takes place on Appomattox Street, across from the historic Beacon Theatre.  The POC is Ms. Mary Elder at [email protected] or 804-458-1818.

Volunteers will unload, package and distribute food at the Annex behind the Southside High School Education Center (the old Middle School) in Dinwiddie for 150 families.  At 1000 the delivered food will be pulled from a freezer truck and broken down into family size boxes, then handed out to local families registered for assistance from 1100-1200.
